A researcher wants to determine if eating blackberries can help reduce the number and severity of sore throats. Ten people have volunteered to take part in a pilot study and it is your job to randomly assign them to a control or treatment group by flipping an imaginary coin. Try to behave like a coin and pretend to flip your mental coin for each volunteer – with an imaginary heads, assign the subject to the control group – with an imaginary tails, assign the subject to the treatment group. Use “T” for treatment group and “C” for control group. You can state your answer then use a comma and state the answer for the next subject and so on (i.e. T, C, C, …….) for all 10 subjects.
